Description

Folio 57: Charles Fanshaw to Sir Leoline Jenkins. Reasons for delay in releasing the three English prisoners from Mozambique and their inexcusable neglect by their employers in England. Thinks Portuguese may soon make a down payment on the Queen's Portion after all. The Princess ordered by the King to speak only in Portuguese to all envoys even if they do not understand that language. King sending an envoy to Poland with a christening present for a new Polish prince.
