Description

Folio 191: H. Lee to Secretary of State. Shipping and naval news. English women who want to become nuns. The new Viceroy Marquis of Alenquer, professes "friendship to the English nation, God grant that they so find it." Disorders among the English merchants. His correspondence with Cottington at Madrid. Portugal very quiet and no likelihood of any change.
