Folio 123: Carteret to Wich. Russian Counter Project now being considered by HM No difficulty expected. Full Power for your signing that Swedes are exerting their own and French interest at the Porte, to get inroad on Russian territories. Hostilities may be begun. De la Chetardie has tried to get Bestuzev's removed, but if that does not succeed there is a French scheme to gain them, which must be, by you, prevented.
