Folio 87: MacKenzie to Townsend. Relation of Czar, Naryskin bought here under arrest until his trial. Sentences of banishment passed on Kyken and Zinavin commuted to a pecuniary penalty of 70,000 roubles the former and 40,000 the latter. At the same time Mr. Sattonwoff, formerly Commandant of Revel, brought in for detention until trial. The Commissary of Coporio had been punished with Bastinado and thereafter his sword returned to him forthwith. Czar assisted at Christening of Wolcoff's child and afterwards with Czarina had the pleasure of a masquerade. Admiral Creutz, a Dutchman, is back from long exile in Kazan and appointed by Czar as Equipage Master of the Fleet. We hear there is a scaffold erected in the Fortress covered in red cloth, where Wolconstoy and others are to lose their heads. Dated St Petersburg, 13 Dec 1714.
