Description

Camden. Rawdon to Cornwallis. Report of intelligence from Six Mile Run (with enclosures?); Sumpter wounded; council of war and Gates; withdrawal to Charlotte, leak to Col. Haggins's daughter; remarks on fate of Rugeley, who, he says, betrayed his men; refers to an intercepted letter of his own on the Volunteers of Ireland. Certain lists, items PRO 30/11/66/27-32, seem to have been enclosures.
