Manuscript prize appeal No 53, from the Vice-Admiralty Court of Jamaica, filed in 1808.
Captured ship: Ann and Contmpt (master John Williamson).
Nationality: American.
History: taken before May 1807 by HMS Hebe (Micaiah Malbon esq commanding), and brought into Jamaica.
Appellant: the master for the ship and cargo on behalf of several American citizens; and for his own private adventure.
Respondent: the captor.
Manuscript appeal papers, never printed.
