Manuscript prize appeal No 52, from the Vice-Admiralty Court of Bermuda, filed in 1808.
Captured ship: Agnes (master William Hasting).
Nationality: Jamaican [British].
History: taken before January 1807 by HMS/ Leopard (S P Humphreys esq commanding), and brought into Bermuda.
Appellant: the master for the ship on behalf of Messrs Maxwell and Wellwood Hyslop merchants of Kingston, Jamaica; and for the cargo on behalf of said Messrs Maxwell and Wellwood Hyslop and David Gordon merchant of new York.
Respondent: the captor.
