Counties: Corn, Devon, Dorset, Hants, Som, Wilts Justices, Gaols, Nature: Robert Bealknap; Launceston; Exeter castle; Dorcester; Winchester; Ilchester; Old Salisbury; Roll.

mm or rots: 13 In roll 170 at ms. 11, 11d are enrolled recognizances entered into before Bealknap and his fellow justices of the peace for cos. Devon and Cornwall (under commissions of 20 February 1381, C.P.R. 1377-81, 572-3) on 11 March at Exeter and 18 March at Launceston, on which dates gaol deliveries under the usual commissions were also held. On 21 March they sat at Launceston for business under the peace commission for Cornwall, which is enrolled as m. 1, while the proceedings are on m. 1d. The file of this roll is Just. Itin. 3/217/2.
