mm or rots: 55 Roll 142 was wrongly numbered out of chronological sequence because on m. 2 the record of the second case, from a Nottingham gaol delivery of 26 February 1364 (38 Edward III) was erroneously dated 28 Edward III Roll 142 on ms. 1-3 has records of cases adjourned from Ingelby's sessions of 35-39 Edw. III (1361-5), mostly for pardons; these records duplicate the original enrolments of the cases which are among the full enrolments of the deliveries in those yhears in Just. Itin. 3/149. Roll 142 in addition to normal deliveries (1366-1371 on ms. 4-55) has the following:- as ms. 8, 8d, sessions by Ingelby and fellows at Northampton, Nottingham and Lincoln in February and October 1368 under the peace commissions of 12 July 1367 (C.P.R. 1364-7, 448); at m. 25, a Nottingham session said to be on 30 Sep. 1367 but held by Ingelby and fellows under a peace commission dated 10 uly 1368 (C.P.R. 1367-70, 192), at m. 48, a special Lincoln gaol delivery of Jhn Stevensson charged with various homicides, under commission dated 15 November 1367 (C.P.R. 1367-70, 66, and cf. C.P.R. 1364-7, 430-1)
