Description

Short title: Roupe v Fortescue.

Plaintiffs: William Roupe son of the said Richard Roupe, gent.

Defendants: Edmund Fortescue, esq, John Fortescue his son and heir, Thomas Batche, and others his servants, Richard Sweete, Curate of East Allington, Richard Langley, John Luke, and others.

Subject: Libel against plaintiff William Roupe and his family, assaults and forcible entry at East Allington, destruction of pews in the parish church false information to the bishop's commissary, etc.
