Description

Letter of Thomas, Bishop of Whithern, absolving from the 40 days' penance all who shall pray for the soul of brother Elias de Egremond, sometime cellarer of the monastery of Furness. Given in the monastery of Furness, on the feast of St. James the Apostle, in the 20th year of the Bishop's consecration.
