Plaintiffs: Robert Dickman gent, John Spencer, John Peck, Richard Thorne and William Stacy.
Defendants: James Whitelocke, Mary Whitelocke his wife and Bulstrode Whitelocke.
Subject: The plaintiff's were tenant farmers who had been paying their rent to the defendant Bulstrode whose parents, the other defendants, had coveyed the manor to him on the understanding that the profits would go towards the payment of a mortgage on another estate. Their son had sold the other estate, paid off the mortgage and kept the remaining money, so the parents wanted possession of the estate farmed by the plaintiffs: property in Trumpington, Cambridgeshire and Fawley, Buckinghamshire.
