Description

Short title: Doegood v Skeate.

Plaintiffs: William Doegood (alias William Meech).

Defendants: Henry Skeate, Anne Skeate his wife, Richard Loffe of London.

Subject: The plaintiff paid the defendant Skeate 5 pence an week to lodge in the garret he rented with his wife from the defendant Loffe in Thames Street, London. He claimed that Skeate had taken £30 of his money from a box he kept under his bed.
