Francil Sherrington of London, merchant to Sir Robert Benett of Windsor (Newe Winsor), co. Berks, kt., Phillip Gerrard of Graies Inne, co. Middlesex, esquire, Roger Downes of Wardley [in Eccles], co. Lancaster, Richard Blower of Graies Inne, esquire, andThomas Collett of Middle Temple, London, esquire: Feoffment indented of Booths Hall (the Hall of Boothes) and lands (named) in Booths (Boothes) and Worsley [both in Eccles], Westleigh Hall in Westleigh [in Leigh], and Orrell Hall in Orrell in Mackerfield [in Wigan], to the use of the grantor until his intended marriage with Awdrey, eldest daughter of the said Sir Robert, and thereafter to them jointly for life in survivorship, with remainder to the heir's male of their bodies, the heirs of their bodies and the right heirs of Sherrington, in liew of jointure: Lancaster.
