Description

Appointments to Office; Metropolitan Building Act.

Three letters relating to the Office of Woods and Forests. A note to the clerk of the peace for Middlesex from the Earl of Lincoln at the Office of Woods, stating that there is no obligation to the appointment of Robert Warton to the Surveyor of the district of the St Leonard Shoreditch and Norton Folgate; a letter to James Graham from John Shaw at Christ's Hospital, requesting permission to appoint an additional referee under the Metropolitan Building Act; a letter to James Graham from Lord Canning requesting a licence from Graham for Shaw to retain appointments.
