Description

Grant by Adam de Stratton, clerk, to Geoffrey, son and heir of Adam de Bisseye, of a messuage, lands, and tenements in Bysseye, which formerly belonged to the said Adam de Bisseye, and came to the grantor by reason of a fee of 12 marks in which Adam de Bisseye was bound to Cressus, a Jew of London, to be received from the said lands, and which fee the said Jew demised to the grantor by his 'star': [Herts.]. Feast of St. Matthew, 1 Edward I.
