Acknowledment by Agnes, late the wife of William de Hertmere, that she is bound to render 1/2 a mark, yearly, to the Lady Alina la Despenser, countess of Northfolk, at her manor of Wockinge, for a messuage lands and tenements in Sutton, which came to the hands of the said countess, after the said William's death, and which the said countess has granted to Agnes for her life etc Witnesses:- John de Wykeford, Robert de Pappewrth, and others (named): [Surrey.]. Thirteenth century.
