Acknowledgment by Ralph de Pappeworth of his obligation to secure the title of Sir Fulk Basset, bishop of London, to meadow land in Saund, which he has granted to the said bishop, under a penalty of 40s. to the king; with renunciation by the said Ralph of the privileges granted to crusaders. Witnesses:- Master William Passemer, canon of St. Paul's London, and others (named): [Surrey.]. Wocking, 8 Ides [6] of November, A. D. 1257.
