Agreement between Walter the chaplain, and Thomas the harper (Citheratorem), of Wiremundeford, his brother, whereby the latter pawns to Walter, for 5½ marks, 12 acres in Fordham parish of William de Blancmuster's fee, viz. a field called 'Pirfeld' and barn therein, for fifteen years from Michaelmas next after the Translation of St. Thomas, Archbishop of Canterbury, 3s. being deducted for each year. At the end of the term Thomas shall regain the land on payment of 28s. 4d., otherwise Walter shall hold it, deducting 2s. yearly, till Thomas deo redeem it. Witnesses:- Richard the dean of Berholt, William the chaplain of Fordham, and others (named). (Suff. ).
