Description

Demise by lady Katherine Wellyng, the prioress, and the convent of Wykes to Thomas Swey, of Hynttelisham, of a tenement called 'Pepewhitis' in Hynttelisham and four pieces of the demesne lands of their manor called 'Chatisham-halle' lying in the same place, part abutting on the highway from Hynttelisham church to Haddeleygh northward and land called 'Coppedokcroft' eastward, part abutting on the roaf from the tenement called 'Begelys' to Hynttelisham church; to be held from Michaelamas last for his life and a year longer, paying 26s. 8d. yearly: Suff. Sunday before Christmas, 8 Henry VI.
