Will of Stephen called Bernard, dyer, of London, living in the parish of St Mary Somerset, by'le Brokenfarwe' of the said city. Bequeaths several amounts to the above church, etc: to Walter Miles, fishmonger, of London, and Agnes his wife, daughter of Stephen, three shops with rooms built over,and a chamber adjoining, stretching towards the Thames, in a lane at one end of Lamberdeshill towards'le Fiswarve': to Isabel his wife the messuage he lives in; two shops in Scholane to be sold to support a chaplain in the above church: to his wife certain vessels and all his wooden brewing utensils with cistern adjoining, and all his chests and coffers except one great chest bound with iron, etc, and the terms of his apprentices, William de Herbeston and Thomas Elys, who however for the first year after his death shall work for his profit, etc : [Middlesex] Endorsed: Memorandum of proof before the archdeacon of London, 22 August, A. D. 1306, and of enrolment at the Husting for common pleas, Monday before the Apostle Simon and Jude, 34 Edward I. Saturday after St. James the Apostle, A. D. 1306, 34 Edward I.
