Hsü Kuang-chin to Bonham. Appreciates handing over of pirates captured by Royal Navy near Amoy. Has executed criminal involved in case of robbery in Macao on 19 Mar 1849. Has intensified search for Hsü A-chin et al. These murderers, when captured, ought to be tried by Chinese government, not British, because they are Chinese subjects and because they have been involved in other criminal cases inside China as well.
