Description

[Lin Tse-hsü and Teng T'ing-cheng to [C. Elliot]. Set out terms for peace: (1) opium newly arrived must all be destroyed; (2) murderer of Lin Wei-hsi must be handed over; (3) opium dealers must be sent back to England; (4) as Elliot claims he is waiting for instructions from home, he must specify when he may expect to receive such instructions.
