Chu-erh-hang-a to C. Elliot. Transmits Lin Tse-hsü's edict: rejects Elliot's request to send deputy to Lintin to acknowledge receipt of account of opium stock before delivery to Chinese authorities, as Elliot can order merchants to hand over account and stock to Chinese authorities directly.
