1 item extracted from WO 44/415. Town plan of Port Royal, Jamaica, showing streets, dockyard, Ordnance buildings (named), defence works. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Compass indicator. Inset section through defence works at the east end of the dockyard (scale: 1 inch to 12 feet). Signed by William McKerras, Maj RE. Endorsed: '1786'. Pencilled additions made in 1828 reverse the compass indicator and show the Colonial hospital and a proposed magazine. Extracted from papers relating to a proposed gunpowder magazine at Port Royal.
