Both items to scale: 3 inches to 400 feet. Compass indicator to item (2). (1) Copied from a plan sent by Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Bryce to Mr Crew, 24 December 1813; this copy by T Beer and J Nightingale, respectively Second and Third Class Royal Military Surveyors and Draughtsmen, May 1815.
