Japanese ambassador, Vichy: report of June 17 on information obtained from German Embassy, German Army cracking down on Resistance forces in St Flour area since June 16, short item on the V-1 attacks against London since June 16 and a summary of fightingin France since Allied invasion.
Siamese ambassador, Tokyo: report of June 16 on first air raid against Tokyo on June 15, Japanese town of Mikura also bombed by 20 aircraft coming from China, these events, combined with Allied landing on Saipan were causing tension in Japan.
