South Europe: C-in-C Southwest assessment of losses suffered in defensive battle of Italy, seven divisions down to 10-15% of strength, June 5; defiles between west coast and Viterbo-Siena road to be prepared for blocking on Allied approach, June 7; HQ 51st Corps to move to 60 miles northeast of Rome, night of June 6-7.
