Southern Europe: 88mm guns in transit to be mounted in specially arranged firing position on vessels with sufficient deck space, June 21; German concern over Italians laying of drift-mines, June 29; on or before June 23 General Fieldmarshal Von Richtofen ordered Foggia airfield to be closed, on June 26 he was to inspect all GAF flying units on Sardinia, Kesselring in Mediterranean on Sept 26; Gen Lt Von Senger and Etterin to become GOC German Armed Forces, Sicily, and German liaison officer with Italian 6th Army respectively, on June 27.

German 76th Army Corps, 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division and 26th Panzer Division, to move immediately from France to central Italy, June 26.
