Description

France: German orbat for south coast of France, Nov 26.

North Africa: combat situation in Tunis area Nov 26; Kesselring demands that Tunisian authorities immediately unload all ships bringing 10 Panzer Division to North Africa as division was urgently required by 90th Corps for combat operations; Italian request to transfer Italian fighter group from Aouina to Bizerta, Nov 27; Allied build up at Gafsa causes German concern over their forces in Gabes area, Nov 27, German air and ground reinforcements to be sent to Gabes from Nov 28; German intelligence report on combat operations throughout North Africa; report for Tunisia, Nov 27; 90th Corps moving up to attack, early on Nov 28; GAF Tunisia, to be withdrawn overnight Nov 27/28 to Pantelleria or Trapani, Panzer Army report for Nov 27, expected large-scale Allied attack against Mersa El Brega on or about Nov 30, German unit to be withdrawn from front and sent to Tripoli, Nov 27; Rommel only able to provide local protection for Tripoli, Nov 26, because Berlin has ordered him to place all of his troops on Eastern Front.

Russian Front: 4th Air Fleet's combat instructions for Nov 28, to support defensive battle at bridgehead over Don and keep Russian forces from advancing to Kotelnikowo area; report for Nov 27 in central area involving German, Italian, Romanian and Hungarian forces.

North Africa: Kesselring to Nehring at Tunis on Nov 25 referring to Hitler's suggestion that use of Tiger tanks would turn tide of battle in Germans' favour.
