Description

Operational orders of 2nd Air Corps south of Smolensk: two groups at hour's readiness for raids on Moscow.

4th Air Fleet orders Sept 17, 1st Panzer Group had advanced beyond River Sula, 6th Army continued attack on Kiev from the east and air attacks on Kiev and Odessa.

Convoy left Naples, Sept carrying oil, ammunition and equipment.

Reports of rebel Communist activity in Croatia and Serbia and reports from 718 Infantry Division that Zvornik is threatened.

General von Rintelen, attached to Italian GHQ to arrive Athens, Sept 19, Crete Sept 20 Rhodes and Athens Sept 21.

German police report, Sept 13, that Corinthia not yet pacified.

Italian ambassador, Buenos Aires reports US initiative in defence plans for the Americas.

Italian ambassador, Washington reports Spanish ambassador's views on the US President's attitude to the war.
