Bargain and sale by John Machell, late of Brading on the Isle of Wight, Hampshire, yeoman, to James Bishopp of Brading on the Isle of Wight, Hampshire, yeoman, of his right title, interest and demand of a messuage with a garden, an orchard and appurtenances in Brading on the Isle of Wight, Hampshire, which had been leased to John Machell and his mother Joan, wife of Leonard Marchell of Brading on the Isle of Wight, Hampshire, gentleman, by Edward Richards of Yaverland (Everland) on the Isle of Wight, Hampshire, by indenture dated 5 March 1581, for the term of their natural lives.
Witnesses: John Stent, Thomas Jeffreys and Robert Williams.
