Indenture whereby William, son of Peter de Veutre of Burnham [Norfolk] grants to John his son, Catherine wife of John, and Roger le Bretoun the manor of Burnham, with appurtenances in Burnham St Clements [Burnham Overy], Burnham Thorpe, Burnham Sutton, Burnham Ulph, Burnham St Andrew, Burnham St Edmund, Burnham Westgate, Burnham Norton, Deepdale, Holkham, North Creake, Wighton, Warham, Wells, 'Wharles' and Thursford, except all lands in Burnham inherited from his brother Robert, for an annual rent of £5 to him for life and one clove of garlic to his heirs after his death, with reversion to Catherine and Roger if John die without heir. Two seals. Dated at Burnham. Witnesses: Sir William de Calthorpe, Sir William of Wauncy and Sir Peter de Ty, knights, Richard Neel of Burnham, William de Waterden, Walter de Melford, Simon de Helgetone, John Athelwald, John Toly, Richard de Naryngg, Richard de Redham, Robert de Wharles.
