Bill witnessing that John Pickardd, parson of Brockhall in Northamptonshire, has received from John Counggarton of Flore [Northamptonshire], gentleman, farmer of the parsonage, the sum of £4 for half-year's rent due at Lady Day, with seal attached. Dated 22 March 1564. Bill witnessing that John Pickarde, clerk, parson and rector of Brockhall in Northamptonshire, has received from John Cowngarton of Flore [Northamptonshire], gentleman, farmer of the parsonage, the sum of £4 for half-year's rent due at Michaelmas, with seal attached. Dated 14 October 1564. Bill witnessing that John Pickarde, clerk, parson and rector of Brockhall in Northamptonshire, has received from John Coungarton of Flore [Northamptonshire], gentleman, farmer of the parsonage, the sum of £4 for half-year's rent due at Lady Day, with seal attached. Dated 28 April 1565. [Dorse:] Mr. Gongarton [sic].
