Cover for (ii), ?fragment of a deposition concerning serving a writ obligation by Anne Compton of London, widow of Salomon Compton, late one of the gentlemen of the Queen's chapel, and John Hodgson, citizen and merchant tailor, dwelling in Fleet Lane in the parish of the Saint Sepulchre in London, now by trade a cook, to Henry Ferrers of London, gentleman, for £80 with condition that if Anne Compton and John Hodgson submit to the contents of an indenture of the same date made between the same parties, the obligation will be void. Initials [?of Anne] and signature of John. Witnesses: John Kitson, John Symme, Georges Lemme, servant of Walter Meredith, Walter Meredith.
