Indented lease by Mary Halle, widow and executrix of John Halle of Colchester, [Essex], to Henry Bosse, Thomas Fraunceys, William Penne, John Beltesfordde and John Waltham of Colchester, of all the tenement with cellar and shops called 'Hadleyestenement' in the parish of St. Nicholas, Colchester, left to her for life in her husband's will, at an annual rent of eight marks, together with enough woollen cloth to make a gown at Christmas, or 6s 8d.
Witnesses: Ralph Algar, one of the bailiffs of Colchester, John Cristyan, Simon Fordham, William Cristemasse, William Martyn, Thomas Clerk and others.
Dated at Colchester.
