Later summary of a lease made on 20 August 1587, by which John Sture and Robert Lopp granted to William, Richard and Hugh Trinicke all their lands in Haredon (Upharradon alias Waterman) in Ugborough, Devon, for the term of their lives. For this, the Trinickes were to pay £20 to Sture, £80 to Lopp, and an annual rent of 50s. Warrant of attorney to William Willinge and John Scoble, witnessed by Philip Michel, Robert Roger, junior, and John Lakman. Noted in the margin that William and Hugh Trinicke were dead, and Richard was then aged 45. Followed by calculations of the rents due from various properties.
