Description

County: Devon, Axminster, Axmouth, Black Torrington, Coleridge, Halberton, Haytor, Lifton, Plympton and Tiverton hundreds.

Grant description and date(s): aid to knight the king's son Edward granted by Parliament 1346 Sept 14 x 1347 Nov 1.

Document description: Tax liability inquests for the first collection, bundle of 7 mems. Includes names of individuals. An ultraviolet light is required to read parts of each membrane.
