Medical and surgical journal of HMS Triton, a sea-going hospital ship in the Tagus, for 1 June 1809 to 25 May 1810. by John Jeffcot, Surgeon. The journal takes the form of case by case entries. In each case the disease or illness is named, and symptoms and treatment are described. There are no indications of where the ship was at any time or if she was in port and no mention of the weather. The journal ends abruptly on 23 May [1810], the numerical abstract of cases mentioned in the journal is not completed and there are no Surgeon's general remarks. (Described at item level)
