Medical journal of the Princess Charlotte, convict ship from 12 June to 1 December 1824 by John Dobie, surgeon and superintendent, during which time the said ship was employed on a passage from England to Van Diemen's Land, New South Wales.
Folios 1-3: Joseph Willis, convict, aged 33; disease or hurt, catarrhal affection. Taken ill, 3 July 1824 at River Thames. Discharged 30 July 1824.
Folios 4-5: John McCause, convict, aged 19; disease or hurt, severe griping pain in his bowels. Taken ill, 8 July 1824 at River Thames. Discharged 27 July 1824.
Folios 5-6: Corporal Morgan, soldier, aged 27; disease or hurt, headache and throbbing in his temple with increased heat of the skin and quick full pulse. Taken ill, 6 July 1824 at River Thames. Discharged 25 July 1824 to duty.
