Description

Ordnance Survey six-inch County Series: part of sheet Durham XXI SE, joined with the eastern part of sheet XXVIII NE, and the western part of sheet XXIX NW. Map of coast of County Durham between Dene Mouth and Chourdon Point, published 1889. Scale: 6 inches to 1 mile. MS additions dated circa 1895 show limits of foreshore at Easington, claimed by Mr Burden as lord of the manor.
