1 item extracted from ADM 1/5681. Admiralty chart of the west coast of Africa, with 7 views of the coastline, illustrating the French claim to Cutunu (Cotonou). Scale: 1 inch to 4 sea miles. Compass rose. Surveyed by H M Denham, Capt RN, and others 1846. Engraved by J & C Walker. Published 10 May 1848. Corrections to 1877. MS additions show how HMS Hecate ran ashore on the bar at Lagos in 1856.
