1 item (formerly accompanying combat reports from 41 Squadron) extracted from AIR 50/84. County Durham and Yorkshire, North Riding. Air raid plot chart of the coast between South Shields and Scarborough, showing the route of the German raid X32, 3 April 1940, the response route of the Red 'J' of 41 Squadron from Catterick. Contact, and destruction made 15 [?miles] north-east of Whitby, with grid references and times. Reference notes. Stamped: 'Secret'. Marked in MS: 'Copy'. Endorsed: 'Attach to combat reports'.
An earlier catalogue entry, in the card catalogue held in the Map and Large Document Room at Kew, identified the parent document as AIR 50/18; this cataloguing error appears to have been introduced following the recovery of documents after theft, 1990-1991.
For the combat reports to which this map relates, see folio 576 of AIR 50/18
