1 item (originally enclosed in C P Hodgson's reports on his journeys in northern Japan, 16 July and 27 August 1860) extracted from FO 46/17 (folio 59). Japan: southern Yezo (now Hokkaido). Plan of my 3 excursions. 1st to Volacano. 2nd to Aino [Ainu] villages. 3rd towards Matsumai': map showing Hakodate, roads, rivers, towns, hills and the surrounding countryside. Reference notes to types of tree, mineral deposits and geological features. Compass indicator. Signed: C P H[odgson].
