5 items extracted from ADM 123/29. (1)-(4) maps of south-western Africa (now Namibia) and (5) a map of Cape Colony (now the Cape Provinces, South Africa). (1)-(4) were approved by J Borlase Warren, Commander HMS Swallow and originally enclosed in a print of his letter dated 9 November 1879 relating to Walwich Bay (now Walvis Bay, in Namibia) and the trek Boers. Detailed descriptions are given at item level.
