South Asia: 'Caucasia': map of the area of the Ottoman and Russian empires between Berdyans'k (now in Ukraine), Astrakhan (now in the Russian Federation), Rasht (now in Iran) and Aleppo (Halab, now in Syria), showing place names, roads, railway and telegraph lines, wells, and boundaries; the Ottoman territory covered is depicted in less detail than the remainder of the map. Reference table; list of sources used in compiling the map. Heliozincographed at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, 1906. MS additions showing the lines of the Volunteer Army [under General Denikin] between 21 January and 24 February 1919, and dispositions of Bolshevik forces; MS reference table and notes.
