Cumberland. 'Plan of the City of Carlisle, shewing in Yellow what is supposed to be the King's Ground, and what Houses are Built thereon, either by the Corporation or Private Persons'. Reference table from [?Dougal] Campbell's Report of 1 December 1749. Scale: 1 inch to 160 feet. An annotation states: 'Copied from an original plan in the Drawing Room at the Tower to accompany Lt. General Morse's letter to Mr Crew dated 30 May 1806'. By A H C[hamberlaine].
