1 item (enclosure to letter of 9 March 1757 from the Victualling Commissioners to William Pitt) extracted from SP 42/40 (f 37). 'Gibraltar A General Plan of the Victualing Yard with the Store-Houses &c a.': plan showing houses, shops, ramparts, and the esplanade. Reference table. Scale: 3 inches to 60 feet. In their letter, the Commissioners sought permission for a temporary shed to be built against the retaining wall of the rampart to protect water casks from the sun.
