2 items extracted from CO 879/25. (1) 'The Settlement of Sierra Leone in January 1884 from Admiralty Charts and Recent Surveys, Treaty Table from Official Records, by Captain H.M. Jackson, R.A.'. The map also shows names of rulers and tribal areas. The Treaty Table gives dates and references to Sierra Leone ordinances and locations. Intelligence Branch 349. Lithographed by F N Webb, with some colour. (2)' Table of caravan routes from Sego-Sikoro, Timbo &c to Sierra Leone, W. Africa.' Compiled by Major A M Festing, Assistant Colonial Secretary and Treasurer from personal research, at the request of H E Sir Samuel Rowe KCMG, Governor in Chief, West African Settlements. Signed by Feasting, Freetown, 23 November 1885. Lithographed by Dangerfield, Bedford Street, Covent Garden 11/86.
