Map of Australia showing colonies (Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria) and settlements and the furthest points reached by Gregory's and Sturt's expeditions into the unexplored interior. Reference tables to counties in Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria. Scale: 1 inch to about 133 miles. Insets: (1) A map of the world showing routes and distances to Australia by sea; (2) 'Tasmania or Van Diemens Land'. Published for the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge.
